Braúna is recommended for soils with medium to high fertility. The more prostrate growth of its tussock (decumbent), its thinner stems, and good regrowth facilitate the management of this grass, in addition to the good soil coverage.
MG-5 Vitória
It is a Brachiaria with excellent potential for forage production (up to 18 t/ha/year of dry matter). It is recommended for soils of medium to high fertility. It has tolerance to poorly drained soils or short-term flooding.
Brizantha cv. Marandu
It is recommended for soils with medium to high fertility. It can be used in the breeding, rearing, and fattening of cattle, as well as for milk production, in direct grazing, silage, and haymaking.
MG 4
Recommended for soils of medium fertility for breeding, rearing, and fattening of cattle, as well as for milk production. Can be used for direct grazing and haymaking.
Dictyoneura (Llanero)
Recommended for medium to low fertility soils, sandy, acidic, and with excess moisture.
Humidícola (Quicuio)
Recommended for soils with medium to low fertility and in areas with waterlogging or poor drainage (such as the Pantanal).
Ruziziensis
Ruziziensis is recommended for beef cattle in the rearing and fattening stages. It has good nutritional quality and palatability, making it suitable for direct grazing or haymaking.
Decumbens
Recommended for soils of medium to low fertility, for direct grazing by animals, also suitable for making silage and hay, for cattle rearing, fattening, and milk production.
Piata
Recommended for soils of medium fertility and sandy texture. It is used for direct grazing by cattle in breeding, rearing, and fattening, as well as for silage or hay.
MG19 Oasis
The MG19 Oasis cultivar has good forage production, nutritional quality, and softness of the produced forage, being recommended for milk and meat production in the rearing, growing, and fattening phases. It is suitable for soils with medium to high fertility in an intensive rotational grazing system with resting intervals of 25 days during the rainy season.
