For over 40 years, Matsuda Group has been dedicated to the production, processing, analysis, and marketing of forage seeds, always standing out for its commitment to work and the quality of its products.
A pioneer in private sector investment in research, Matsuda has a Research and Development Department aimed at developing new forage technologies and cultivars with superior agronomic potential, increasing productivity, and extending production limits in different soils and climates across Brazil.
Some results of this research include the launch of various widely known and used materials such as MG-12 Paredão, MG-5 Vitória, Áries, and Java (the first hybrid forages), Paraíso Elephant Grass (the first seeded forage of its species), and others, which significantly contribute to Brazilian and several other countries' rural producers and agriculture.
We also highlight the partnership with Incotec, a world leader in seed treatment and coating, in the development and pioneering of treatments with insecticides and fungicides, film-coating (polymer application), and seed encrusting of forage species.
In addition to these technologies, Matsuda invests in training a technical team dedicated to continuously improving the quality control of our seeds. Through this effort, the Matsuda Seed Analysis Laboratory is accredited by the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA), being the 101st certified laboratory in the association, the first private laboratory in the world, and the first in Brazil to achieve this seed analysis quality certification.
Matsuda also has a technical department with agronomists, agricultural technicians, zootechnicians, and veterinarians to assist our clients across Brazil and abroad. All of Matsuda Group's investments follow the company's philosophy of ensuring that our customers achieve superior results from the establishment of pastures, environmental conservation, animal welfare, and that of their employees, to the ultimate goal of high productivity and profitability.
